Title:
DROWNING DETECTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2020030781
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide a drowning sensor for detecting an actual drowning condition for a purpose of detecting and rescuing a drowning person quickly.SOLUTION: Both ends 1a and 1b of a rubber band 1 are fastened with a water-soluble material, for example, a piece of paper 2, and are covered with a capsule 3 having holes at both ends so that the piece of paper does not get wet with saliva and splashes; and while the capsule is put in a mouth of a person, the rubber band is put around a head of the person. When drowning, a large amount of water flowing into the mouth is flooded into the capsule, the piece of paper melts and breaks, and thus, since the rubber band is released at a stretch, a float is attached to the rubber band in advance, and the float can be floated on a surface of water to inform the surroundings, alternatively, an inflatable flotation device may be connected in advance so as to respond to a presence or absence of tension of the rubber band, and may be interlocked.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
