Abstract:
To provide a thermal transfer sheet having excellent high-speed transfer suitability, head scum prevention, adhesion to a transfer target and blocking resistance.SOLUTION: A thermal transfer sheet 10 has a transfer layer 12 having a colored layer 11, a base material 13, and a back surface layer 14. The colored layer 11 has an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, a terpene resin, a polyolefin and a colorant. The back surface layer 14 has a filler, with the ratio between an average particle size of the filler and a thickness of the back surface layer (average particle size of filler/thickness of back surface layer) being 0.8 or more and 3.5 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
