Abstract:
To provide a center bearing which can improve detachment resistance of a rubber-like elastic element to a bracket while assuring durability of the rubber-like elastic element against axial displacement.SOLUTION: A center bearing 2 comprises: a tabular rubber-like elastic element 12; a bearing holding part 13 provided on a midship part of the rubber-like elastic element 12; a bracket 14 which is formed into a frame-like shape and surrounds the bearing holding part 13; rib parts 15 which are formed at outer marginal parts of a front face and rear face of the rubber-like elastic element 12; a bone part 16 embedded between the front and rear rib parts 15; a pair of claws 17 which are provided on the bracket 14, and sandwich the rib parts 15 with the embedded bone part 16 from an outer side in a cross direction; and a thin wall part 18 which is formed on the rubber-like elastic element 12 facing the rib parts 15, and has a cross directional dimension smaller than that of the rubber-like elastic element 12 at a position where the rib parts 15 are formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
