Abstract:
To provide a method for producing an azilsartan-containing tablet in which elution property of azilsartan, which is an active ingredient from a tablet being a solid pharmaceutical composition, is improved, and stability of the tablet is also improved.SOLUTION: A method for producing an azilsartan-containing tablet in which a mixture of azilsartan and filler is granulated by using binding liquid which consists of hydroxypropylmethylcellulose and polyethylene glycol, and purified water, and granulated granules are tabletted, in which azilsartan to be used has an average particle diameter of 10 to 20 μm, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose and polyethylene glycol used for binding liquid are: (a) hydroxypropylmethylcellulose having viscosity measured by a Brookfield-type viscometer at 20°C 2% aqueous solution is 2.5 to 5.1 mPa s; and (b) polyethylene glycol having the melting point of 20 to 90°C, and elution property of azilsartan from the tablet and stability thereof is improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
