Abstract:
To provide a bump stopper which can prevent cracking when attached to an end part outer periphery of an outer tube, and to provide a shock absorber and a bump stopper manufacturing method.SOLUTION: A bump stopper 1 is integrally molded by a synthetic resin including: an annular apex 2; a cylinder part 3 disposed at an outer periphery of the apex 2; and a connection part 4 which connects the apex 2 with the cylinder part 3 and has an annular groove 4a which encloses an outer periphery of the apex 2 therein. The bump stopper 1 is configured so that a thickness T1 from a bottom of the annular groove 4a to the outer side of the connection part 4 in the connection part 4 becomes thinner than a minimum thickness T2 in the apex 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
