Abstract:
To provide a power transmission device for a vehicle which can suitably suppress the generation of creep friction.SOLUTION: A power transmission device 1 for a vehicle has a case 11, a reduction shaft 12 accommodated in the case 11, and a bearing 21 having an inner ring 21a externally fit to an external peripheral face of the reduction shaft 12, and an outer ring 21b internally fit to the case 11. The power transmission device rotatably supports the reduction shaft 12 to the case 11 by the bearing 21, an external peripheral face of the outer ring 21b is clearance-fit to the case 11, a lubrication groove 11b opened in the case 11 at one end is formed at an internal peripheral face 11a of the case 11 to which the external peripheral face of the outer ring 21b is clearance-fit, and the lubrication groove 11b is formed while inclining to a direction in which the external peripheral face of the outer ring 21b slides at the forward traveling of the vehicle with respect to an axial direction of the reduction shaft 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
