Abstract:
To provide a stopper for closing a pipe conduit and a pipe conduit closing method capable of easily closing the pipe conduit without requiring skill.SOLUTION: A stopper 1 for closing a pipe conduit includes a sleeve member 20 to which a shaft member 10 can be inserted, a first seal member 50, and a second seal member 60. The first seal member 50 is expanded in diameter by shortening a distance between a first flange member 30 and a second flange member 40 to close an inner surface of a pipe conduit PL. The second seal member 60 is expanded in diameter by pressing of a handle member 70 to close an opening end of the pipe conduit PL. The sleeve member 20 is disposed in a manner of being moved forward and backward along an axial direction, and has an engaging portion 22b capable of being engaged with an engaged portion 41 of the second flange member 40 in accordance with a pressing state of the handle member 70. The distance between the first flange member 30 and the second flange member 40 is shortened by a rotating operation of the handle member 70 in a state of engaging the engaging portion 22b with the engaged portion 41a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
