To provide a pipe insertion tool capable of inserting a flexible new pipe into an existing pipe smoothly.SOLUTION: A pipe insertion tool that cuts an inner diameter φ1 of a hot water supply path 10 from an inlet 4 to an outlet 5 in a pipe axis direction L according to an outer diameter φ3 of a flexible new pipe 11 and inserts the new pipe 11 into the hot water supply path 10, comprises a relay member 66 connected to the tip of the new pipe 11 and having a diameter equal to or larger than the outer diameter φ3 of the new pipe 11, and a rope body 31 that pulls the relay member 66 from the outlet 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 17
