Abstract:
To provide a high-frequency amplifier capable of placing a filter circuit, for reducing third-order intermodulation distortion, in the vicinity of an amplifier element.SOLUTION: A high-frequency amplifier 1 outputs a high-frequency signal, formed by superposing multiple signals of a carrier signal having frequencies different from each other, while amplifying it. The high-frequency amplifier includes an amplifier element part 10 for amplifying the high-frequency signal and outputting it from multiple signal output ends, a board 30 placed side-by-side to the amplifier element part in a first direction A1, and having a synthesis circuit, electrically connected with the multiple signal output ends and synthesizing signals, outputted from the multiple signal output ends, into one output signal on the principal surface, and a filter circuit 40 placed on the principal surface of the board, electrically connected with the synthesis circuit, and reducing the third-order intermodulation distortion included in the output signal. The output signal is outputted from a central part of the board in a second direction A2 intersecting the first direction. The filter circuit is placed in a region between the central part and a corner located on the opposite side to the amplifier element part on the board.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
