Abstract:
To provide a molding device of a stator coil for a rotary electric machine, capable of reducing a bend radius of a bending part of a segment conductor, and a molding method.SOLUTION: A molding device is intended for a stator having a projection part 32 projected from a slot of a stator core of each of a plurality of segment conductors 3. The molding device comprises: a holding device 5 that is formed in a cylindrical shape, and holds the plurality of projection parts 32; and a driving part that relatively moves the holding device 5 to the stator core. The holding device 5 includes: a plurality of groove parts 51 into which the plurality of projection parts 32 is inserted; and a gripping part 52 for gripping each projection part 32 to be inserted into each groove part 51. The gripping part 52 is constructed so as to allow the change of states of a gripping state where each projection part 32 is gripped so as to restrict a relative movement of each projection part 32 in an axial direction L against each groove part 51 and a cancellation state where the gripping of the projection part 32 is cancelled. The driving part makes the holding device 5 to be relatively rotated to the stator, while being relatively moved to the stator core side of the axial direction L.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
