Abstract:
To enhance fuel consumption performance by adding improvement to control at deceleration travel during which a driver does not depress an accelerator pedal.SOLUTION: A control device of a vehicle controls a vehicle in which a torque converter equipped with a lock-up clutch intervenes to a drive system coupling an internal combustion engine to a drive wheel and which works a compressor for refrigerant compression of an air conditioner by supplying a part of engine torque output by the internal combustion engine, and is configured so as to execute control for maintaining lock-up of the torque converter while increasing amount of fuel supplying to the internal combustion engine in comparison with idle operation if pedaling amount of the accelerator pedal by a driver amounts to 0 or a threshold near to 0 or less while the vehicle travels at prescribed vehicle speed or less and if working the compressor for the refrigerant compression by the internal combustion engine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
