Abstract:
To provide a small-footprint and low-cost density measuring instrument which can measure density under a dry environment.SOLUTION: A density measuring instrument comprises a housing unit 10 which houses an object 2 to be measured, a weight measuring unit 20, a dimension measuring unit 30, and a transporting unit 40 which moves the object 2 to be measured from the housing unit 10 to the weight measuring unit 20 and the dimension measuring unit 30. The dimension measuring unit 30 comprises a pair of sensors 31 including a light-projecting unit and a light-receiving unit. The transporting unit 40 comprises a gripping arm 41 which grips the object 2 to be measured, X-axis direction moving means 70 moving the gripping arm 41 in an X-axis direction, Y-axis direction moving means 60 moving the gripping arm in a Y-axis direction, and Z-axis direction moving means 50 moving the gripping arm in a Z-axis direction. The density measuring instrument measures a dimension of the object 2 to be measured by passing the object 2 to be measured between the dimension measuring unit 30 and the sensor 31 while gripping the object to be measured by the gripping arm 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
