Abstract:
To provide an electric actuator capable of performing high-speed and precise positioning and an electric brake device.SOLUTION: A controller 2 of an electric actuator DA includes a power running regeneration determination unit 26 and an output restriction unit 27. The power running regeneration determination unit 26 determines which is a driving state of an electric motor 4, power running and regeneration, based on a rotation direction of the electric motor 4 and a direction of torque generated in the electric motor 4. The output restriction means 27 restricts an output of the electric motor 4 such that an absolute value of a maximum output of the electric motor 4 when the driving state of the electric motor 4 is regeneration becomes larger than the absolute value of the maximum output of the electric motor 4 when the driving state of the electric motor 4 is power running in a specified motion state in which the electric motor 4 is assumed to rotate rapidly.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
