Abstract:
To provide a turret tool post, a machine tool and a restoration method of the turret tool post which performs return movement by automatically adjusting engagement between a groove and a projection.SOLUTION: A tenon-shaped protrusion is formed on one-side of a driving shaft 26 and a transmission shaft 46 of a tool and a groove engaged with the protrusion so as to permit disengagement is formed on the other side. When a deviation from an indexing position of a turret 21 is produced, the transmission shaft is rotated toward a predetermined reference rotation angle position and the turret is revolved toward a prescribed return revolution angle position. A turret revolution motor 32 or a tool rotation motor 42 is controlled so as to regulate the revolution of the turret according to abutment between the groove and the projection and allow revolution of the turret according to abutment release between the groove and the projection and performs return movement of the transmission shaft and the turret to the reference rotation angle position and the return revolution angle position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
