Abstract:
To perform optical control of a projection area of a projection device with improved processing efficiency and high accuracy.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus for controlling a projection area of an image projected by projection means of a projection device includes: detection means of continuously detecting the projection area by detecting feature points in the projection area; and control means of adjusting the projection area to be close to the position or size of a target area by controlling the projection means. The control means may cause the projection means to execute: first control of modifying the projection area even when the detection means detects the projection area; and second control which does not modify the projection area when the detection means detects the projection area, and then modifies the projection area in accordance with the detected projection area. The detection means detects a less number of feature points in a first case where the projection means performs the first control, than in a second case where the projection means performs the second control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
