Abstract:
To provide a sheet bundle conveying unit which allows a sheet bundle to pass through a curved portion without causing wrinkles or deflection despite of its simple structure, even when the curved portion lies in a path where a sheet bundle is conveyed with the sheet bundle nipped by a pair of conveying belts.SOLUTION: In a sheet bundle conveying unit having a conveyance path in which a sheet bundle T is conveyed with the sheet bundle T nipped by a pair of conveying belts 22a and 22b, and the conveyance path has a curved path portion 31 in a part of the conveyance path, the curved path portion 31 has regulating means (regulating roller) 27 having a regulating part (flange part) 27b for making a pressing force to the sheet bundle T due to the conveying belt 22b forming a curved inside track smaller than a pressing force to the sheet bundle T due to the conveying belt 22a forming a curved outside track.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
