Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing a heat exchange element by which height variation an air duct can be suppressed and reduction in a heat exchange element efficiency can be suppressed, and to provide a heat exchange element.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a heat exchange element 6 comprises: a first step for forming a plurality of ribs 14 on one surface of a heat transfer plate 13 to form heat exchange element pieces 15; a second step for alternately laminating the heat exchange element pieces 15 one by one and joining them to form a laminated body 6a; and a third step for forming an exhaust air duct 16 and an air supply duct 17 having a prescribed interval in the lamination direction by compressing the laminated body 6a in the lamination direction. In the first step, a rib 14 is formed using a first rib 14a composing the exhaust air duct 16 or the air supply duct 17, and a second rib 14b having a height H2 lower than the height H1 of the first rib 14a and having rigidity higher than the first rib 14a. In the third step, the prescribed interval (height H2) is regulated on the basis of the height of the second rib 14b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
