Abstract:
To improve image quality of an image formed on a recording medium in forming the image on the recording medium using a plurality of image forming apparatuses, compared with a case where characteristic change of the recording medium from forming the image in a front stage image forming apparatus to forming the image in a subsequent stage image forming apparatus is not considered.SOLUTION: An image forming system comprises: a first image forming apparatus 2 that forms an image on a recording medium G; a second image forming apparatus 3 that forms an image on the recording medium on which the image is formed by the first image forming apparatus; and control means that controls an image forming operation of the second image forming apparatus according to information associated with characteristic change of the recording medium from forming the image using the first image forming apparatus to forming the image using the second image forming apparatus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
