Abstract:
To provide an air purification filter including a gas-removal sensing function capable of easily discriminating discoloration due to gas.SOLUTION: An air purification filter 1 includes: a filter material 2 for purifying air; a frame 3 for holding the filter material 2 in a pleat shape; and a shape holding member 4. The filter material 2 includes a dust collection layer 6, an aggregate 7, and an absorber 9 for removing gas. A gas indicator 8 discolored upon reaction with at least one kind of the gas which can be removed by the absorber 9 is provided on a part or the whole of the shape holding member 4 located at an air inflow side. The air purification filter 1 has a gas-removal sensing function where a user can easily determine that the filter removes the gas based on the fact that the gas indicator 8 is discolored in the shape holding member 4 hardly affected by coloration with a particulate substance included in the air and thereby the indicator is turned into a color different from that of the surrounding filter material 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
