Abstract:
To provide a drive shaft which can secure a space between a boot and a boot band and peripheral members.SOLUTION: An adapter 41 is provided between a housing 22 of a constant-velocity universal joint 13 and a large diameter end part 33 of a boot 14. The adapter 41 has an external fitting fixture part 42 and a boot fixing part 43. The external fitting fixture part 42 is fitted on the housing 22. A large diameter end part 33 of the boot 14 is fitted on the boot fixing part 43. The large diameter end part 33 is fastened by a boot band 45. The boot fixing part 43 has an outer diameter smaller than the external fitting fixture part 42. An outer peripheral surface of the boot fixing part 43 is located at the radial inner side relative to an outer peripheral surface of the external fitting fixture part 42.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
