Abstract:
To provide a compound type Mckibben artificial muscle capable of simply adjusting the contraction coefficient and contractive force while equally contracting.SOLUTION: A compound type Mckibben artificial muscle 1 using a plurality of Mckibben artificial muscles, comprises a thin artificial muscle thread 10. The thin artificial muscle thread 10 is composed of an elastic tube 11 made of an elastic body formed in a hollow cylindrical shape, and a braided tube 12 in which a filament is movably formed on the outer wall of the elastic tube and formed into a braided shape by a cord. The compound type Mckibben artificial muscle 1 uses an even number of four or more thin artificial muscle threads 10. The compound type McKibben artificial muscle 1 is provided by configuring the four or more even-numbered thin artificial muscle threads 10 in a braided shape with a cord.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
