Abstract:
To shift a gear without a useless operation and a complicated structure in gear shifting.SOLUTION: As shown in Fig. 1, in a continuously variable transmission of a claim 1, a component constituted by integrating an impeller which receives energy and a gear different in diameter, is disposed at an input side, and the components are not fastened to each other to be set in a free rotation state. The gear at the input side and a gear of a diameter to be engaged with the input-side gear are connected and integrated at an output side. The input-side gear and the output-side gear are set from the first state, so that replacement of the gear in gear shifting is unnecessary. In shifting gear, the impellers 3, 4, 5 may be changed, or a pressure of a fluid as energy source to rotate the impeller is changed to change a rotational frequency. Thus complicated structure and operation can be solved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
