Abstract:
To provide a fuel battery single cell evaluation device that does not cause damage to a gas diffusion layer 5 of a membrane electrode gas diffusion layer stack 2 due to variations in thickness in a separator 6 of a fuel battery single cell 1 for evaluation, and allows proper evaluation of the fuel battery single cell 1.SOLUTION: A fuel battery single cell evaluation device 50 includes a first pinching jig 60 and a second pinching jig 70 made of a conductive material having rigidity. The surfaces of regions of the first pinching jig 60 and the second pinching jig 70 that contact the power generation surfaces of the fuel battery single cell 1 are flat surfaces. A cavity portion (concave portion 62) is formed below the contact region of the first pinching jig 60, and an elastic material 63 having conductivity is filled therein. A metal thin plate 64 is located on the upper surface of the cavity portion (concave portion 62).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
