Abstract:
To provide an instrument washing holder capable of securely holding a dental medical instrument in a standing posture even when the dental medical instrument is any of various dental medical instruments having different mounting structures.SOLUTION: An instrument washing holder comprises: a base body 21 having a top surface on which a support surface 28 for supporting one end of a dental medical instrument 3 is provided; a plurality of holding arms 22 extending upward from the base body 21; and an abutting body 23 provided on the free end side of each holding arm 22 to come into point contact or line contact with an outer peripheral surface of the dental medical instrument 3. The holding arm 22 is configured to be elastically deformable in an access/separation direction with respect to the outer peripheral surface of the dental medical instrument 3. When the dental medical instrument 3 is inserted among the holding arms 22, the one end of the dental medical instrument 3 is supported by the support surface 28 and at least three points on the outer peripheral surface of the dental medical instrument 3 are supported by the abutting bodies 23, which enables the dental medical instrument 3 to be held in a standing posture.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
