Abstract:
To provide a system which can release 1-MCP in a short time from an α-cyclodextrine/1-methylcyclopropene (1-MCP) complex which is a molecular complex of a volatile compound without deterioration of 1-MCP.SOLUTION: Hot air obtained by heating air in a commercial vaporizer Extreme Q Vaporizer or a newly designed generator of FIG. 2 at a setting temperature is contacted with an α-cyclodextrine/1-MCP complex to produce 1-MCP without using a solvent (e.g., water).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
