Abstract:
To provide a fitting capable of easily providing a structure for maintaining a closed state of a sliding sash even when exposed to flame or the like while suppressing cost.SOLUTION: A fitting includes: a synthetic resin frame body formed with an opening; a sliding sash having a synthetic resin box body and supported so as to close the opening; a flame-retardant or incombustible reinforcing member fixed to at least one of the frame body and the box body by a metal screw; and a closing maintaining unit fixed to the reinforcing member and capable of maintaining the state that the sliding sash closes the opening, the closing maintaining unit having an abutting plate part abutting on a head of the screw, and the abutting plate part being fixed to the reinforcing member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
