Abstract:
To provide a diaphragm for a loudspeaker, made by hot-pressing a sheet-like base material, that can widen a reproduction frequency band of a loudspeaker while making the loudspeaker thinner by using a shallow type diaphragm.SOLUTION: A diaphragm 6 for a loudspeaker includes a cone type diaphragm main body 60 made of a sheet-like base material. A reinforcement rib 60c having a convex surface and a concave surface at one side and the other side among a surface for sound radiation and a reverse surface opposite to the sound radiation surface of the diaphragm main body 60 is formed on the diaphragm main body 60. The reinforcement rib 60c expands radially on the diaphragm main body 60 and reduces its height gradually toward the outer periphery from the center of the diaphragm main body 60. The reinforcement rib 60c is alienated from a joint portion 60b with a voice coil 4 at the center of the diaphragm main body 60.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
