Abstract:
To provide a cable module having a loss compensation circuit which allows improvement in high-frequency characteristics without degrading mounting reliability.SOLUTION: A cable module has a substrate on which cables to be connected to cables and connector pads to be connected to connectors are disposed. The plurality of cables and connector pads are provided on each of both front and rear faces of the substrate. Between the cables and the connector pads, there are provided lines for transmitting a plurality of differential signals. Between the lines for transmitting the differential signals, there is provided a loss compensation circuit disposed on only either one of the front or rear face. At a position on either one of the cable side or the connector pad side of the loss compensation circuit, each of the cables and connector pads are connected together by each of the lines for transmitting the differential signals via one through-hole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
