Abstract:
To provide a metal molding method capable of controlling physical properties of a molded article without using a metal powder containing a plurality of kinds of metals.SOLUTION: In a metal molding method for forming a metal molded article by melting metal powder by radiating a laser beam, based on desired physical property of the metal molded article, desired density of the molded article is determined, based on the density, a fuse rate of the metal powder when the laser beam is radiated is determined, based on the fuse rate, a laser clad condition is determined and, by radiating the laser beam on the metal powder according to the laser clad condition, a molten part and an unmelted part are formed, the laser clad condition is corrected such that a residual rate of the unmelted part is a target value, and according to the laser clad condition after correction, the laser beam is radiated on the metal powder.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
