Abstract:
To provide novel transthyretin (TTR) antibodies that can be used for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases associated with TTR amyloidosis, and to provide TTR peptides that can be used with vaccine.SOLUTION: Provided are a novel human-derived antibody specific for TTR and capable of binding misfolded, misassembled, and/or aggregated TTR species, a method for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases associated with TTR amyloidosis using the antibody, and a vaccine peptide for the treatment of TTR amyloidosis, which contains epitope of the antibody.SELECTED DRAWING: None
