Abstract:
To provide a power transmission device which hardly causes derailment even on the occurrence of sloshing and is designed to curb increases in a manufacturing cost and a load on a drive device due to increased weight of a chain.SOLUTION: A chain 8 is installed in an interval of a pair of link plates 81 arranged opposite to each other and has: barrel sections 82 which connect the pair of link plates 81; and a boss section 83 which is extended to a side opposite to the side where the pair of link plates 81 faces opposite to each other. A sprocket 5 has: engagement teeth 521 which are extended in a radial direction of the sprocket 5 at a central position in a width direction of the sprocket 5 and engage with the barrel sections 82; and restraining teeth 531 which are extended in the radial direction at positions outer than the link plates 81 in the width direction of the sprocket so as not to interfere with the barrel section 82 when the engagement teeth 521 engage with the barrel sections 82.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
