Abstract:
To accurately estimate the state of a rechargeable battery regardless of the type of a rechargeable battery.SOLUTION: A rechargeable battery state detection device includes control means that supplies a control signal to a discharge circuit that discharges a rechargeable battery to pulse-discharge the rechargeable battery, receiving means that receives a voltage signal from a voltage sensor that detects a terminal voltage of the rechargeable battery and a current signal from a current sensor that detects a charge/discharge current of the rechargeable battery, detection means that detects a variation value between a voltage before the chargeable battery is pulse-discharged by the discharge circuit and a voltage of the chargeable battery during or after the discharge, determining means that determines whether the rechargeable battery is charged or discharged between a first time point and a second time point thereafter, estimation means that estimates the charge state of the rechargeable battery on the basis of a first variation value detected at the first time point, a second variation value detected at the second time point, and the determination result of the determination means, and output means that outputs the estimation result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
