Abstract:
To provide a medium processing apparatus such that even when a medium such as a payment slip separated at a brittle part such as perforations is handled, completion up to processing such as receipt agency processing can be confirmed.SOLUTION: A medium processing apparatus has: a main conveyance path TP1 which conveys a medium, having information printed and also including a brittle part provided at a border between a first region and a second region, from one end to the other end along an extending direction of the brittle part; a read sensor which is provided on the main conveyance path TP1 and reads the information printed on the medium; and a monitor sensor group including a separation monitor sensor D1 which is provided on the other end side when viewed from the read sensor on the main conveyance path TP1 and on a path that the first region of the medium passes, and a separation monitor sensor D2 which is provided on a path that the second region of the medium passes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
