Abstract:
To provide a system of converting water-containing organic waste into fuel, capable of preventing generation of dust upon carrying out a carbonization treatment and preventing sludge from sticking to a heat transfer face of a dryer, and a method of treating water-containing organic waste.SOLUTION: The system of converting water-containing organic waste into fuel according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises an adjustment device of adjusting the charging of a viscosity modifier, a dryer, and a thermal cracking carbonization furnace. In the adjustment device of adjusting the charging of a viscosity modifier, a viscosity modifier is added to and mixed with water-containing organic waste. The dryer dries the water-containing organic waste mixed with the viscosity modifier, to produce dry organic waste. The thermal cracking carbonization furnace carries out a thermal cracking carbonization treatment of the dry organic waste under a reductive atmosphere to produce a carbonized material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
