Abstract:
To provide an air conditioner enabling reduction of standby power consumed by a wired remote controller, the wired remote controller for the air conditioner, and an indoor unit for the air conditioner.SOLUTION: A wired remote controller for an air conditioner in this embodiment controls an indoor unit on the basis of user's operation. The wired remote controller for the air conditioner includes a semiconductor switch, a control section, a self holding section and a switch. The semiconductor switch receives electric power from a power supply line to come into a conducting state only for a predetermined time. The control section is operated by receiving supply of electric power via the semiconductor switch to control the wired remote controller. The self holding section is operated by receiving supply of electric power via the semiconductor switch to hold the conducting state after the semiconductor switch comes into the conducting state. The switch switches the semiconductor switch from a non-conducting state to the conducting state. The control section releases the self holding by the self holding section to switch the semiconductor switch to the non-conducting state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
