Abstract:
To reduce risk of paper contact while achieving high mist recovery efficiency.SOLUTION: An ink jet printer 1, to which a mist recovery device for recovering mist generated in discharging ink from an ink jet unit 31 onto a paper P conveyed on a conveyance path is applied, includes: conveying means which sucks and conveys the paper P on an upper surface of a conveyance belt 133 along the conveyance path; a charged roller 32 which is on a downstream of the ink jet unit 31, is arranged above the conveyance belt 133, and is charged; and a lifting/lowering mechanism 35 which lifts/lowers the charged roller 32 with respect to the conveyance belt 133.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
