Abstract:
To provide a pneumatic tire excellent in both vehicle motion performance and durability of the tire.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire comprises a carcass 3 comprising at least one carcass ply, and a belt 4 consisting of two or more gradient belt layers. An end 3c of a carcass folding part is located inside the end of an outermost side of the gradient belt layer between a carcass body part 3a and an innermost side of a gradient belt layer 4a in a tire radial direction. In the carcass ply located at the outermost side of the tire, a carcass cord in a carcass folding part 3b and the belt cord of an outermost gradient belt layer 4b in the tire radial direction cross with each other to incline mutually in the same direction, and the difference between the inclination angles is 30° or less. The tire width directional width in the gradient belt layer of the outermost side in the tire radial direction is wider than that in the gradient belt layer of the innermost side in the tire radial direction, and an in-plane rigidity per unit width in the gradient belt layer of the innermost side in the tire radial direction is higher than that in the gradient belt layer of the outermost side in the tire radial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
