Abstract:
To provide an electric brake apparatus suppressing vibration caused by inertia and rigidity of each constituent element of the electric brake apparatus, and enabling brake control with high accuracy.SOLUTION: An electric brake apparatus 1 includes: a brake rotor 8; a friction material 9 generating brake force by being brought into contact with the brake rotor 8; an electric motor 4; a direct-acting mechanism 6 for changing output force of the electric motor 4 to pressing force of the friction material 9; and a control device 2 controlling the electric motor 4. The control device 2 has a vibration attenuation processing part 24 for attenuating a gain of vibration characteristics to a fixed gain or less at a peak frequency forming a peak gain in the vibration characteristics comprising a spring vibration-based gain shown by rigidity of members including the friction material 9 and the direct-acting mechanism 6, and inertia of the direct-acting mechanism 6, and a frequency.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
