Abstract:
To provide an elevator capable of improving the accuracy of positioning a car with respect to a landing floor surface in a configuration including a compensation pulley.SOLUTION: An elevator includes a car, a counterweight, a main rope whose both ends are fixed with the car and the counterweight to suspend them, a hoisting machine wound with an intermediate part of the main rope to allow the car to travel in a vertical direction, a compensation rope 5 whose both ends are fixed with the car and the counterweight, and a compensation pulley 21 that is wound with an intermediate part of the compensation rope 5 and hung by the compensation rope 5. The elevator further includes a compensation brake 100 for shifting the compensation pulley 21 to a fixed state from a state of being hung by the compensation rope 5 and a control device 12 for controlling the driving of the compensation brake 100 such that the compensation pulley 21 is fixed at a predetermined timing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
