Abstract:
To enhance removal performance of deposits, to effectively suppress pre-ignition.SOLUTION: This invention is a combustion controller of an engine 1 mounted on an automobile. The combustion controller comprises an ignition plug 25, an intake passage 40, an exhaust passage 50, an EGR passage 52, an EGR valve 54, and an ECU 10. The ECU 10 has a deposit suppression unit 100 that suppresses deposits accumulated in a combustion chamber 17. The deposit suppression unit 100 executes control of estimating an accumulation amount of deposits and control of removing deposits. The deposit removal control controls the ignition plug 25 and controls the EGR valve 54 for reducing an amount of exhaust gas.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
