Abstract:
To achieve an optical pulse tester for enabling an operator to expand/reduce and display a waveform information display region of an optical fiber for transmitting an optical signal without feeling a sense of stress by performing a simple screen operation on a display screen of an optical pulse tester.SOLUTION: There is provided an optical pulse tester for making an optical pulse get incident to an optical fiber to measure and analyze temporal variations in power of return light, and for displaying a measured waveform and a measurement condition and analysis information on a display screen of a display unit, therein the display screen is divided into three regions, that is, a waveform display region, a waveform information display region and a menu display region, and a button for reducing/expanding the size of the waveform display region by selectively performing on/off control of the display of the menu display region and a button for reducing/expanding the size of the waveform display region by selectively expanding/reducing the waveform information display region are arranged on a part of the display screen.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
