Abstract:
To describe a device and technology for a radar correspondence sensor fusion.SOLUTION: In some aspects, a radar field is provided, and a reflection signal corresponding to a target in the radar field is received. The reflection signal is converted for providing radar data, and radar characteristics indicating physical characteristics of the target are extracted from the radar data. A sensor is activated on the basis of the radar characteristics such that additional sensor data associated with the physical characteristics are provided. Afterwards, the radar characteristics are enhanced by the additional sensor data for improving the radar characteristics by increasing, for example, accuracy or resolution of the radar characteristics. Thus, it is possible to improve performance of a sensor-based application depending on the improved radar characteristics.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
