Abstract:
To provide a metal fitting for pressing suspended cargo pieces and a suspension method that can prevent collapse of cargo pieces being suspended and moved by a crane or some other lifting machine from occurring.SOLUTION: A metal fitting for pressing suspended cargo pieces includes: a frame with four corners; outwardly grooved belt strapping supporters each two of which are provided at each of the four corners of the frame; and convex curved belt sliding surfaces formed in face areas including at least upper edges within groove inner surfaces of the belt strapping supporters. When cargo pieces are suspended by the eight suspension belts underneath the metal fitting for pressing suspended cargo pieces with a middle of each suspension belt slidably supported on the belt sliding surface and an upper end of each suspension belt supported by a crane hook, the metal fitting for pressing suspended cargo pieces compresses the cargo pieces and prevent them from collapsing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
