Abstract:
To provide a soundproof device of a transmission that utilizes Helmholtz resonance to reduce radiation sound from a transmission case while suppressing cost increase.SOLUTION: A soundproof device 10 of a transmission 12 that transmits power of a prime mover (an internal combustion engine and an electric motor 14) comprises a Helmholtz resonator 28 that has: a wall 30 forming a Helmholtz resonance space H; and an opening 32 provided in the wall 30 so as to communicate the Helmholtz resonance space H with the outside. The wall 30 comprises a transmission case 20 for housing the transmission 12, and a housing (a PCU housing 26) for mounted components of the transmission 12. The Helmholtz resonance space H is formed between the transmission case 20 and the housing (the PCU housing 26).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
