Abstract:
To provide a short-circuit prevention device capable of preventing a short circuit between different phases in a wire fixing screw or an electric wire in an electric wire insertion/removal work with respect to an electric power meter and applicable to electric power meters having different rated currents.SOLUTION: A short-circuit prevention device includes: a pair of clamping members that clamp both sides of an electric power meter; an adjusting member that adjusts the distance between the pair of clamping members according to the distance between both sides of the electric power meter; and a shielding member facing a partition wall between electric wire fixing screws of different phases adjacent to each other in the electric power meter, where the shielding member is movable in a distance direction between both sides of the electric power meter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
