Abstract:
To enable only one detection circuit to not only detect whether an input signal is a single frequency signal but also to detect a frequency.SOLUTION: A single frequency signal detection method comprises: generating a prediction signal of an input discrete signal on the basis of a first signal obtained by multiplying a coefficient and a first discrete signal immediately before the input discrete signal among two consecutive past discrete signals preceding the input discrete signal, as well as on the basis of a second signal obtained by multiplying a constant and a second discrete signal immediately before the first discrete signal; taking a difference between the input discrete signal and the prediction signal; generating a prediction residual signal; updating a coefficient as an adaptive filter coefficient, using the prediction residual signal; determining that the input signal is a single frequency signal upon convergence of the coefficient; and obtaining a frequency on the basis of the coefficient.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
