Abstract:
To provide a light source device which can be made compact and a projection device including the light source device.SOLUTION: A light source device includes: respective color light sources 141, 101, 121, which is a light-emitting device having characteristics that emission light emits in a predetermined direction having high uniformity of intensity distribution for an emission optical axis and an unstable direction orthogonal from the predetermined direction to a predetermined direction having low uniformity of intensity distribution for the emission optical axis; intensity conversion lens 143, 103, 123 which are formed so that the intensity distribution in the predetermined direction can be adjusted, and to which emission light is incident; and a superposing conversion optical section 300 which is formed so as to be adjustable by dividing the intensity distribution in the unstable direction into a plurality of directions and superposing them.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
