Abstract:
To provide a window device capable of holding its fully closed state while making the window device compact.SOLUTION: A window device 1 is configured to include an opening/closing mechanism 50 for opening/closing an opening/closing body 30 by a specified operation of an operation section. The opening/closing mechanism 50 includes: a shaft section 52 provided substantially parallel to the opening/closing body 30; a pair of working sections connected to the shaft section 52 and the opening/closing body 30, respectively; and a suppressing section 60 for suppressing movement of the opening/closing body 30, which is not involved in a rotation of the shaft section 52, in a fully closed state, toward an opening direction. The suppressing section 60 is mounted to the shaft section 52 such that the suppressing section 60 that is involved in the rotation of the shaft section 52 is allowed to move in a slidable manner along the rotation direction of the shaft section 52 relative to the shaft section 52, which allows the shaft section 52 to rotate without being prevented by the suppressing section 60 regardless of the state of an opening 3 and concurrently the suppressing section 60 in the fully closed state suppresses the movement of the opening/closing body 30 in the opening direction which does not cause the shaft section 52 to rotate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
