Abstract:

To provide a positive lithographic printing plate precursor capable of preventing ablation well, and a method of making a lithographic printing plate using the positive lithographic printing plate precursor.SOLUTION: A positive lithographic printing plate precursor has a support, and an image recording layer formed on the support. The image recording layer has a binder polymer having a constitutional unit with a base group, an acidic compound having two or more acid radicals and having a molecular weight of 10,000 or less, and an infrared absorber.
