Abstract:
To provide an image processing device and an image processing method with which it is possible to reduce costs.SOLUTION: Provided is an image processing device 20 for generating a composite image in which a first image imaged by a camera 11 mounted in a moving body is used, the image processing device 20 comprising: a first core processor 21 for executing a synthesizing process of generating a composite image and a first prescribed process different from the process associated with the composite image; and a second core processor 22 for executing a process of generating a second image different from the first image and a second prescribed process different from the process associated with the second image. The synthesizing process includes arranging the second image on top of the first image and generating a composite image when the second image generated by the second core processor 22 is updated at a prescribed time interval, and arranging the first image on top of the second image and generating a composite image or generating a composite image without using the second image when the second image is not updated at the prescribed time interval.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
